Andre Sequerah started out as a Telco engineer in the early days of the mobile revolution, twenty years ago. Cutting his teeth designing and implementing mobile networks in Maxis and later in Ericsson, he realised that there was a gap in the way mobile networks operated and optimized. That knowledge led to the startup Aexio, a software company which later was acquired by a French MNC, in 2013. Andre subsequently moved on to a short stint in banking, working for a couple of years in CIMB’s then, new Fintech division before launching ScaleUp Accelerator, late last year.

Chan Kee Siak, CEO & Founder, Exabytes
He started as a helper at his father’s hawker store before enrolling into college at the age of 18. Chan sold PC hardware at the side to raise funds for his tuition fees. He discovered the potential of web hosting and the lack of local providers in Malaysia. At the age of 19, Chan set up his first web hosting business which was 100% online based, and the rest was history. decided to quit school and concentrate on his online business, seeing it as a chance of a lifetime. Uyanga Zalaa-Uul, CEO START Mongolia
The current CEO of START Mongolia, Uyanga has 16 years of working experience with over 13 international organisations including the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as their Youth Development Programme Manager. With the UNFPA, she managed the programms that strengthened the Youth Development System in Mongolia. This also included projects that supported youth entrepreneurship and youth startups where she actively mentors and empowers startups, entrepreneurs especially women entrepreneurs.
